◈Story

The film, directed by Andrzej Bartkowiak, the cinematographer of 'Speed' and 'Lethal Weapon 4', is produced by Joel Silver, the producer of 'The Matrix'. Two powerful families are locked in a relentless war, bound by cruel traditions. Black and Asian gangs are engaged in a massive struggle to seize control of Oakland's dark underworld. At the head of the Asian gang is Po Sing, while the other gang is led by an ruthless leader named Isaak. News of Po's death reaches his older brother, Han Sing (played by J. Li), who was currently imprisoned in Hong Kong after taking responsibility for all the crimes committed by his father. During Han's years in prison, his entire family had emigrated to America, and his father was one of the leading figures in the Chinese mafia. Han escapes from prison and returns to America, where he sets out on a quest for the secrets he took to the grave with his brother's death and those responsible for it.
