He has acted in various films and television series since 1974. He is remembered for his role as "Döndü" in the series Kaynanalar. In recent years, he has continued to pursue theater.

He passed the exams of the Ankara State Theatre, where he studied under professors Cüneyt Gökçer and Mahir Canova. In 1969, he graduated from the same class as Füsun Demirel, Sema Çeyrekbaşıoğlu, and Ayşegül Atik.

In 1977, he began appearing on stage at the Bebek Municipality Casino, performing impersonations of celebrities such as Emel Sayın, Neşe Karaböcek, and Sezen Aksu. In 1981, he hosted the entertainment program "Curcuna." He then became a tavern singer. In 1985, together with his wife Mete Sezer, he founded the group "Bir Avuç Tiyatro" (A Fistful of Theatre).

In 1998, he served as the Director of the Antalya State Theatre.
