Liam Cunningham

Liam Cunningham was born on June 2, 1961, in Dublin, Ireland. Growing up in a working-class family in North Dublin, Cunningham began his acting career quite late compared to his colleagues, after an interesting past. He left school at the age of 15 and started working as an electrician, spending years in the 1980s maintaining electrical installations at a safari park in Zimbabwe. The Irish actor, who later returned to his country and took acting classes, made a significant change in his life. He began his professional career with the film "Into the West" (1992). His first major international attention came with his roles as Captain Crewe and Prince Rama in the critically acclaimed film "A Little Princess" (1995), directed by Alfonso Cuarón. He then appeared in productions such as "Jude" (1996) alongside Kate Winslet and the cult horror film "Dog Soldiers" (2002).
