Peter Boyle

Peter Lawrence Boyle, Jr. (October 18, 1935 – December 12, 2006) was an American actor best known for his role as Frank Barone in the sitcom Everybody Loves Raymond and for playing the comedic monster in Mel Brooks' spoof film Young Frankenstein (1974). In 1996, Boyle won an Emmy Award for his guest appearance in the science fiction drama The X-Files. Following his groundbreaking performance in the 1970 film Joe, he received praise for both his comedic and dramatic roles.
