Terry Richards

Terrance "Terry" Gerin is an American professional wrestler and actor, best known by the ring name Rhino (also written as Rhyno in WWE). He is primarily recognized for his careers in Extreme Championship Wrestling, the World Wrestling Council in Puerto Rico, the World Wrestling Federation/Entertainment (now WWE), and Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA). He currently works with Ring of Honor. Gerin has been a two-time world champion, holding both the ECW World Heavyweight Championship (as the final champion of the original ECW) and the NWA World Heavyweight Championship once each. Additionally, he is a three-time WWF Hardcore Champion, a two-time (and final) ECW World Television Champion, and a one-time United States Champion, which he won during the Invasion storyline while in the WWF. Throughout his career, he has also held numerous independent championships. On July 26 on SmackDown Live, Rhyno returned as a "free agent" to attack Heath Slater with Gore. On August 9 on SmackDown Live, the two faced each other under the condition that if Slater won, he would be drafted to the SmackDown roster; however, Rhyno defeated Slater. On August 23 on SmackDown, Slater was offered a spot in the newly established SmackDown Tag Team Championship tournament if he could find a partner. Struggling to find a partner, Rhyno approached Slater, who agreed to be his partner. Rhyno and Slater advanced to the finals by defeating The Headbangers in the first round at Backlash and The Hype Bros in the semifinals, where they defeated The Usos to become the inaugural champions and secure a contract for Slater. On September 13 on SmackDown Live, Rhyno and Slater successfully defended their titles against The Ascension in their first defense after Slater officially signed his live contract. At No Mercy, Rhyno and Slater retained their championships against The Usos. At Survivor Series, Rhyno and Slater served as the team captains for the SmackDown team in a 10-on-10 Survivor Series elimination match but were defeated by Team Raw. Their tag team championship reign ended 84 days after they were defeated by The Wyatt Family (Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton) at TLC on December 4. Two days later, Rhyno and Slater competed in a rematch on SmackDown Live but failed to regain their titles. At Elimination Chamber on February 12, 2017, the duo became the first entrants in a tag team turmoil match for the championships, eliminating Breezango and The Vaudevillains before being eliminated by The Usos. At WrestleMania 33, Rhyno competed in the André the Giant Memorial Battle Royal won by Mojo Rawley. Gerin is close friends with Adam Copeland (known by his ring name Edge) and Jay Reso (known by his ring name Christian). Following a SmackDown recording on September 16, 2011, Gerin made a one-night return to WWE for an event celebrating Edge's career as part of "Tribute Night." He also participated in Edge's induction ceremony into the WWE Hall of Fame Class.
