Xu Jinglei (born April 16, 1974) is the most famous actress, director, and editor on mainland China. Xu graduated from the prestigious Beijing Film Academy in 1997. Mainland Chinese media regard her as one of the Four Young Beauties alongside Zhao Wei, Zhou Xun, and Zhang Ziyi. Additionally, since 2003 she has continued her acting career while also working as a director.
