◈Story

The film tells the love story of a poor man and a rich woman. Bekir is abandoned by his lover because he is poor and goes to Istanbul to earn money. His goal is to get a job at a gallery through his distant relative Ali Emmi. His goal is to earn money and get married and return to his village. In the middle of the night, Pınar, who is affected by the songs of Bekir, appears before Bekir, dressed as a servant. This meeting touches the two young ones deeply. But Pınar is engaged, and his family pressures Pınar to get married at once.

I couldn't explain it, a drama touching the fine lines of urban migration and class difference. The escape from the village to Istanbul begins as an effort to survive with hope; the gallery of Ali Emmi gives him an opportunity to deal with his past, not just a job. The film gives the audience a silent observation as to how economic woes touch the identity of the individual.

In one night, when Pınar is dressed as a servant, it transforms the collision of two separate social circles into a dramatic scene. The attraction is shaped by young people's disappointments and silent screams, which is supported by natural dialogues and minimalistic music choices, attracting the audience without reducing emotional intensity.

Towards the final, the choice of characters and family pressure deepens the theme of the film. I couldn't explain it, it presents the challenge of the combination of love and freedom as a visual poem; it leaves the audience with questions and invites them to do their own internal accounting.
