◈Story

Ruhi is a 17-year-old introverted young man who lives with his family. Nihat is a 65-year-old retired man with financial problems who sold everything after his wife's death. The paths of these two people cross on the Bodrum bus. Ruhi and Nihat, who did not speak at all during their journey, go to the Bodrum Police Station after the theft they experienced. Nihat's brother, Ümit, lives in Bodrum and works as a boatman. They begin to search for Him together. Just when they think they can't find it, Trucker Ali steps in. When he tells them that Ümit's son Timur is staying in a hostel here and that he can help them, the two settle in Zagor's hostel. Timur is a troubled person, he keeps blaming his troubles on his girlfriend Zeynep. Later, a friendship begins between Zeynep and Ruhi. In this hostel, which is a stop for unrelated and problematic people, everyone will gradually begin to change with the ideas of Tekneci Ümit.

With the intervention of Ümit and trucker Ali, whom they met at the police station, the film opens the doors of a hostel. Zagor's old hostel turns into a microcosm filled with Timur's complex mood, Zeynep's inner turmoil and Ruhi's newfound friendship. While the director weaves the loneliness and hopes of different generations with subtle humor, the slow-paced transitions he establishes between scenes offer a rhythm that forces the audience to think. The camera work visually reflects the sea scent of Bodrum and the narrow atmosphere of the bus, and supports emotional tones with the music selections. The film focuses on the internal transformation of the characters within a “thoughtfully dramatic” narrative; Each scene opens a small window that allows the audience to empathize.
