◈Story
After leaving the Narcotics unit of the Los Angeles Police Department following an operation that caused him to regret his life, Sheriff Ray Owens (Arnold Schwarzenegger) moves to the quiet border town of Sommerton, where he begins to fight petty crimes. However, this peaceful environment is disrupted when the most wanted drug cartel leader in the Western hemisphere, Gabriel Cortez (Eduardo Noriega), decides to cross the U.S.-Mexico border at high speed—250 miles per hour—in a specially designed Corvette ZR1 with a hostage inside, with the help of a ruthless group of wealthy men led by the heartless Burrell (Peter Stormare). The route Cortez plans to cross lies above Summerton Highway.

Geçit Yok is a film where Arnold Schwarzenegger showcases his talents with a skilled cartoonish role. Sheriff Owens leaves Los Angeles amid a fight and moves to the peaceful Sommerton village, trying to rebuild his life there. However, the quiet village is thrown into unrest when it becomes the target of an operation planned by Gabriel Cortez, the leader of the most wanted drug cartel in the western hemisphere. The film is preoccupied with the tension between Schwarzenegger's character's hard and empathetic development and Cortez's plans. The pace starts slow but picks up in the middle. A weak point is the lack of depth in some of the characters, especially some elements of the Sommerton community.
The film explores the concepts of wise decisions and aggression while also highlighting the value of peace and regret. As a bonus, the special vehicles and the ones used in the arsenal are noteworthy and contribute to the tense sections. In some sections, Schwarzenegger vividly portrays the psychological conflicts of his character. Although the film is not deep, it can be praised as a smart action movie. The dark winter streets of Sommerton and the use of emergency vehicles help create a tense atmosphere.
