In Ilker Çatak's film, the cold atmosphere of Ankara depicts the tragic journey of an artist family brought to ruin by the state's arbitrary intervention. Sudden unemployment following success on the theatre stage forces the characters to question not only their economic but also their ideological identities. The lead performances by Özgü Namal and Tansu Biçer convey how dreams fracture under the harsh impact of reality, imbued with profound internal tension. Within the requirements of the drama genre, the film explores the effects of sudden change on individual psychology and social pressure with a strong pace. These external pressures that test marital bonds concretize the conflict between the characters' beliefs and their practical needs in daily life. The film's narrative structure succeeds in keeping the audience in a state of constant anxiety by maintaining an atmosphere filled with uncertainty and worry.
