Animals (2026)

"Animales" is a comedy-thriller production that questions the daily hardships of village life and an individual's place within society. The narrative structure adopts a character-centric approach, detailing the protagonist's interactions with events surrounding them. The film's tempo and flow advance in a balanced manner, paralleling the challenges faced by characters in their daily lives. However, this genre typically expected elements of tension are absent; the production fails to establish a balance between thriller and comedy aspects. Character development progresses through the protagonist's relationships with those around them, offering viewers an opportunity to form an internal connection. In terms of genre usage, the boundaries between genres remain unclear in this production where both comedic and thriller elements are combined. Regarding thematic consistency, while critiques of fields and village life along with themes questioning social structures are addressed, these themes are not explored in depth. The production conveys only the plot to the audience; attention is not given to the characters' inner worlds or emotional transformations.

Therefore, in the production, not only external interactions but also internal developments had to be taken into account.
