You+Me - Against the World (2026)

Directed by Manon Gaurin, "Sen+Ben - Dünyaya Karşı" presents the tension between youthful passion and familial pressure to the audience through the encounter of its two main characters. The collision of Alma's secret film dream with Vadim's distant demeanor is structured as a quest for freedom that transcends the classic rules of the romantic drama genre. However, this narrative fails to reach the expected intensity of suspense due to the invisible threat never fully materializing, and the progression of events occasionally slows down. Character development, particularly during the process of severing family ties, lacks sufficient depth, and thematic consistency is overshadowed by internal conflict in the face of external threats.
