Free Guy (2021)

The film succeeds in presenting an original narrative by being constructed from the perspective of an NPC within a computer game. Its technical boldness in reflecting artificial intelligence and character emotions stands out. Humor derived directly from the absurdity of the situation creates an entertaining, light tone. In this work that pushes the boundaries of the science fiction genre, thematic consistency is maintained, though the story's depth falls short of expectations. While Ryan Reynolds' performance is observed to carry the film, the impact of other actors is less pronounced. Focusing on the core logic of the subject rather than technical jokes satisfies the audience.
