We Live in Time (2024)

Film employs a non-linear narrative structure not merely as a stylistic tactic but as a profound tool that interrogates the impact of time and memory on human identity. This structural choice encourages the audience to focus on the characters' inner worlds and the consequences of their choices, while offering a powerful cinematic approach to universal themes such as love, loss, and the fragility of bonds. The performances delivered by Andrew Garfield and Florence Pugh transcend the story's simplicity, proving the potency of human existence. The dynamics between the characters achieve a seamless harmony of comedy and tragedy, tension and everyday struggles. This work immerses the viewer in the merciless reality where love, loss, and time shape everything, leaving behind a sweet yet poignant ache that reminds us of the transience of shared moments.
