Biography

Austin Noah Abrams was born on September 2, 1996, in Sarasota, Florida, USA.
Growing up as the son of a doctor and his wife, Abrams discovered his interest in acting at a theatre camp he attended as a young person and took his first steps toward a professional career by participating in local stage productions.
The young actor experienced his first acting role in 2011 with the film "Ticking Clock," and soon began securing roles in both television and independent cinema.
Following his appearance in MTV's "The Inbetweeners" (2012), he gained attention for his roles in the critically acclaimed independent coming-of-age story "The Kings of Summer" (2013) and the popular young adult adaptation "Paper Towns" (2015).
His first major role that brought him widespread recognition was portraying Ron Anderson in seasons five and six of the television phenomenon "The Walking Dead."

The project that marked the true turning point in Abrams' career and established him as one of the most striking talents of his generation was HBO's Emmy Award-winning series "Euphoria" (2019–present), which resonated widely in popular culture. With his portrayal of the sensitive and well-intentioned character Ethan Lewis, he garnered acclaim from both audiences and critics. Following this successful period, he appeared before viewers in a key role in the prestigious family drama "This Is Us" (2019–2021). Along with entering leading roles in the 2020s, the talented actor proved his screen charisma by bringing to life the witty yet romantic character of Dash in Netflix's beloved romantic comedy series "Dash & Lily" (2020). In the same year, he shared leading roles with Lili Reinhart in the drama film "Chemical Hearts," an opportunity that allowed him to showcase more melancholic and profound aspects of his acting.

In recent years, however, he has continued his multifaceted ascent in Hollywood through significant projects of vastly different scales, including Netflix's dark comedy "Do Revenge" (2022), which achieved high viewership numbers; the independent film "The Line" (2023), which critiques university culture; and the crime-comedy film "Wolfs" (2024), in which he shares leading roles with Brad Pitt and George Clooney.
