Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness (2026)

Directed by Zach Cregger, this production does not directly deliver the expected action dynamics of the classic horror genre; instead, it is constructed around an atmosphere of tension and isolation. As the synopsis indicates, the epidemic scenario that begins in a hospital setting follows a lone courier confronting mutated creatures, opting for a slow, oppressive rhythm rather than the fast pace found in traditional action films. This approach constitutes an original experiment that questions the genre's standards while placing emphasis on the character's psychological collapse and environmental horror.
