Fall 2: Deadly Ascent operates within the boundaries of a classic survival thriller genre while dragging the audience not only into physical danger but also into psychological challenges. The narrative structure successfully establishes tension from the outset, with careful attention given to fundamental elements such as characters drawing closer together and the development of mutual trust. However, there is insufficient depth in character development; viewers struggle to understand the actions and motivations of the characters. While the pace is generally maintained consistently, a reduction in tension in certain scenes can disrupt the flow of the story. In terms of genre usage, the conflict between nature and humanity is thematically explored with significant strength in this production. Nevertheless, it remains confined within the limitations of the genre, and the expected elements of suspense become somewhat exaggerated and predictable, particularly in the second half. Regarding thematic consistency, while themes of fear and survival are effectively utilized, their deeper exploration falls short. Within the production, the dynamic between the dual characters holds considerable potential for further development.
