Strange Harvest (2025)

The documentary-style narrative immerses the viewer in the case of a serial killer roaming the San Bernardino area. The tension established in the first half, combined with footage from CCTV and body cameras, successfully supports the story's dark and mysterious tone, while references to the Cthulhu mythos are effectively felt in the background. However, the plot weakens unexpectedly in the second half, and the inconsistency of the crimes committed by the killer disrupts the narrative's coherence. Some scenes adopt an exaggerated comedic tone, and the film concludes without meeting audience expectations, offering a disappointing ending instead of the anticipated surprising developments.
