Barry Allen, who has endured a great tragedy in his past, is an assistant at the Central City Police Department's crime lab, where he collects clues left behind by criminals. After surviving a tragic lightning strike, Barry gains super speed and assumes the identity of The Flash, taking it upon himself to deliver villains to justice!
The transformation process of Barry Allen, shaped by the tragedy in his past, from a forensic laboratory assistant to a super-fast hero, concretizes how supernatural abilities intertwine with human emotions. Director Geoff Johns' script makes the narrative flow captivating and propels the audience forward with constant curiosity; this structural integrity successfully maintains the exciting pace required by the genre. Character development is explored through the reflection of Barry's internal conflicts onto the outside world, gaining representative depth and establishing a consistent theme in storytelling.
